The Pocatello High School

I've lived in Pocatello for just over two years and I've always heard that the Pocatello High School is haunted. The school was built in 1893, and many teachers and students that have gone to the school believe it to be haunted. A couple months ago I did a Google search on it and read some of the stories about the school. There was one that kept popping up, but I've heard different versions of it. Though the story differs, the most common version I read goes like this:

Supposedly around the 1950's there were two girls who were best friends, for some reason (this part of the story is unclear) the two girls made a "suicide pact" with each other. They both agreed to commit suicide inside of the school. Pretty morbid right? Anyway the story goes that one girl chickened out while the other girl on a Friday after school hid inside of her locker. When no one was left inside the school she sprayed herself with a large amount of perfume made some sort of noose and hung herself in her locker. The locker is supposed to be inside of the girls dressing room beneath the stage. The girl was found dead the following Monday...
The story goes that teachers and students still smell a unique smell inside of this dressing room... a faint smell of perfume. The particular locker that the girl hung herself was said to be removed from the school but that often the strange smell of perfume will still come.
There are also stories that the apparition of a young girl has been seen inside the school at night by the custodial staff.
I read this story and the comments left below, while some people who have attended the school believe the building to be haunted others claim they have never experienced anything supernatural inside and that it is simply a myth. A story created to scare teenagers that attend the school. Whether it is true or not I thought it was an interesting story. I'm sure every high school has a similar legend of someone that has died inside their school. In the old Burley High School, in my hometown, there is supposed to be a ghost that is called "He/She" that haunts the auditorium and the band room... but that is a story for another time!

Recently I sold a phone to a girl who attends Pocatello High School, I couldn't resist and asked if the school was haunted. She informed me that her Cheer-leading coach had a freaky experience inside the school. One day she was at the school and she brought her two little boys with her. They stayed in the gym to play with a basketball while she went into the girls locker room that is directly underneath the gym. She was busy preparing something for the cheer-leading practice and she could hear the boys up stairs bouncing a basket ball and running around. After a few moments she noticed that it had suddenly gotten strangely silent. She made her way back upstairs to find out why the boys had stopped playing or to see if they had gone somewhere else. When she came into the gym both of the boys were braced up against the wall staring at the rafters and they both looked scared. She asked them why they stopped and what they were scared of.
The boys responded by saying, "the old man in the rafters told us we needed to be quiet."

That story freaked me out and gave me the chills. Anyway supposedly Pocatello High School is haunted. If you know any stories about the school or have experienced something creepy there yourself please let me know! Also if your high school has a similar legend of a ghost what is it?
